2nd part of Life

Saturday night, a fever night! For the young and the young-at-heart only. After a wedding dinner, I called up GOD and John for yam cha. (I am such a bored person, nothing new can do!) John was included in this yam cha session because he is out of ‘Jail’ for the moment; his soon-to-be-wife is at home town.

After picked up John and GOD, we headed to a famous Hokkien Mee shop @ Jalan Maharajarela near DBP because GOD haven’t take his dinner!(GOD also need to eat ah?) We ordered Hokkien Bihun Mee and Kam Hiong Lala, as I am still full after the dinner, I only had some Lala and the rest finished by them. The food doesn’t taste as we used to taste, shouldn’t be next time for this place. We drink lotsa Chinese tea while we chat for a long time and some Mat Rempit entertained us with some spectacular move on the road!, When we ask for the bill, RM27 for a pot of Chinese tea, 2 persons Lala and 2 persons Hokkien Mee!! Confirm NO ENCORE!!

We left the place and during the chat, John already said he had have not enough food! So we are now heading to the new tempat me and GOD visited few times, The Selangor Mansion. What so special about the place and food? It is nothing special if we found this place at Sub-urban area, but now it is located near to infamous LRT interchange station, Masjid Jamek! Ok, since we brought John to this place, of cause we introduce him to a special food, Roti Banjir SPECIAL!  What so special about it? I can tell you it is full of protein, so use your imagination.

Where can we go or what else can we do at 3am? Cyber Cafe! I can’t really remember when was my last time visit to Cyber Cafe for games, I can’t even remember what games that we used to play back that old days! Anyway, it seems so long we lost the link; we agree to pay a visit. John suggested we go to Low Yat, but when we reach there we only know the CC there was closed down for sometime! This shows that we really lost track of the trend. However we came across that there are couples of CC at our neighborhood, Pandan Perdana.

We reached the place and it is still open,(it should be open for 24hours, later we found that out!) We take our seat accordingly and notice that each computer equipped with a web cam!, John make noise and said even his own PC don’t have a cam yet! We started to look into the games available, games that we recognized can be counted with our fingers, others look alien to us! We laugh at ourselves; we are totally out of this CC world already!

Which game should we start? The hottest game when we still playing at CC last time, Counter Strike lor! We dare not join the public server, thus we created our own server and played 2 against 1 CS, it is really funny when we recap our memories of the game. the interface and weapon choices were different from the old days, but not far from that. We played for 1 map then we switch to next game, Red Alert 2. Again we started a game and fight with each other, this is really fun as we know the game and played for many times back then. So this RA2 last us for 2 maps. Followed with a newer version of Command and Conquer Series, General. It is a 3D version with some gameplay changed, ugly graphic and less knowledge of it make us lack of interest, but still we finish 1 map for the game.

DotA is a famous gameplay for WarCraft III, so we try it out. We played for 3 rounds and won all 3, because 3 of us teamed up and fight with the computer controlled characters. I think that is the reason we can win easily. OK, the next game last us the longest time, it is so interesting and so many things for us to try on, the gameplay can be very different if more friends joined us for it! The name of this game is Battlefield Vietnam, but don’t know why we can only choose to be Japanese or US soldier? The map got a few army based with flag, the objective is to take all the bases and kill the enemies. However we only have 3 persons in the game, so can’t really fulfill the objective, we just try to kill the opposite party. The most interesting part of this game is the player can use all kind of facilities and drive all vehicles in the game! (Including aircrafts) At 1 point i have to take the tank to fight with them because 2 against me! Haha, it is so secure in the tank, they can’t hurt me with their guns and grenades, I shoot at them and even try to run over them after this they play Hide and Seek, because the graphic was nice thus the bushes and trees really camouflaged them.

The 1st time I looked at my watch after we started, it was already 7am in the morning! Then we continue to play until the time we wanted to leave it was 11.30 afternoon!! The attendant of the shop saw our bill was a little bit shock as we played there for 9 hours! Each of us have to pay RM20.50 for that. We went for an early lunch while we looks like corpse and go home to sleep for whole Sunday! Even on Monday, my eye still blur blur!  A spoiled Day, A spoiled Me!

Saturday night I attended my ex-colleague’s wedding dinner @ Concorde KL. Even though the hotel building is quite old (previously known as Merlin KL), but it was well kept. You can feel the old school style design and layout at car park, lobby and ballroom, but with some decorations that blend with the environment well, you can still feel the classy side of it.

The groom is my ex-colleague, means those guest that I know were all my ex-colleagues too. However, since I left that company 5 years ago I rarely contact them. Throughout the dinner period, only some friendly chit-chat was carried out. Lack of enjoyment and I even felt uncomfortable too.

Let’s get back to the event. As usual, a ceremony of the bride and groom entering the ballroom, till they reach the stage, the groom has a little speech. It is actually a short but warm love message that he wanted to deliver her and it win a round of applause from guest. After the new couple was seated, then the 1st dish presentation (nothing new can do?). There was video live feed for everything too, but the execution was bad, the coordination between photographer and camera operator was totally out!

Now we talk about the food. A 9 courses dinner, shark fins soup, fish, chicken, prawn, vegetables and dessert as it is set as some fixed dishes to be served. Less creativity but it is good too, because I can easily compare these fixed dishes to the other restaurant. Without my disappointment, it tastes like hotel class, slightly above average on all the food served except the fried noodle.

Is it my mood or the real taste of the red wine? Even the Tiger Beer they served doesn’t suit my liking. It is understandable that there are uncountable numbers of red wine in the market having different taste and price tag. I shouldn’t complain much because it can be individual taste. But what is the problem with Tiger Beer? However the service of those waiters and waitresses are OK to me.

现在的生活已经要进入一个“犹如一潭死水”的境界，就像是行尸走肉，没有思想，没有方向，每天做着同样的事情，重复又重复，无聊又烦闷。脑袋不再转动，心情不再起伏，作息不再正常，与外界的接触减至最低，对什么事情都再提不起劲。

是否每个人在提出问题前，心里已经有了个答案呢？我没有，因为我真的不知道为什么我会这样。其实对我来说我实在很享受现在的生活，不用面对上司、同事、客户，不用去meeting，不用写reports，不用赶project dateline，不用做last minutes changes。这些可是一般打工仔所向往的吗？

在这资本主义的社会里，钱就是一切，有谁能在没有了工作，没有了经济能力后，还能无忧无虑的去享受这种生活？大家都说“等我赚够了，我就能享受更好的生活”，但是有多少人会对自己说赚够了？至少不会在我这个年纪吧，可能到了像比尔盖茨或者巴非德他们的年纪和财富，就真正的赚够了。

我说了这些都是有用意的，我只是想掩饰我心中的忧虑。因为现在的我，没有重心，没有方向，没有计划，没有目标，没有动力。一切只是很随性的跟着感觉走，让所有东西都向下滑，滑得越低越好。在这向下滑的时段里，凝聚一股动力，在到了回弹的时候，这股动力能把我推到更高！如果我是坐在“life-is-like-a-roller-coaster”。

想不到今天的下滑速度加快了，好像有些东西重重的压了下来！

Yo, it is a milestone! 101 friends, sounds like 101 Dalmatian.
hahaha … but do I really feel happy about it? i don’t think so, because half
of them I do not know in person, and yes I know the other half in person but I
seldom contact them. So what the heck to have such a list of friends?

Why do I add so many friends? To race with other on number of
friends in my list? To get myself on my friends’ update list always? To create
an image that I am a friendly person? To lie to myself that I am in the center
of attention?

Maybe those are my intentions, but deep down in my heart
there should be a cause of action. I can popup 2 words now, “Bored” and “Loneliness”.
I think there should be more than these 2 words, is it something to do with my
personality and attitude? Please tell me if you have any idea.

Recently I am very free, to the extend that I went for movie
alone, stay awake through out the night for HK dramas, exchange breakfast for
sleeping till noon, read somebody blog and follow their daily post. (you know that
I never wanna do these in the past). Many times I browse through my phonebook, I
can hardly pick a name to call for lunch, dinner or yam cha. Am I isolating
myself?

Even that I am getting closer to you-know-who GOD, I found
myself losing my focus and get myself confused. Sometime I get frustrated +
annoyed when GOD talks to me, it seems a lost to me because GOD don’t simply
grant wisdom to others. But I don’t care because I am not you-know-who GOD’s
follower!

Still GOD is my good company la … hehehehe

你今日有打乞嚏冇啊？打咗几多个啫？会唔会觉得好爽，或者好辛苦？
其实你想唔想知道点解我哋会打乞嚏呃？咁就等我同大家上返堂生理堂啦！

根据现代医学嘅讲法，打乞嚏只不过喺因为感冒，又或者喺上呼吸道粘膜受到刺激而引起嘅一种反应嚟！当鼻粘膜受到刺激嘅时候，肺部就会急剧吸气，产生咗一个急速而有力嘅呼气过程，就形成咗打乞嚏嘞！

讲完啲闷闷哋嘅嘢，讲返啲有趣架啦。我唸你哋都听过话如果你打乞嚏，就喺有人讲你坏话，或者咒紧你。其实喺好耐以前就有啲咁嘅记载，好似《詩經》嘅〈終風〉里面就曾经提过。

喺我哋啲中华文化入面仲有另外一种讲法，就認為打乞嚏喺心灵感应同埋思念嘅象征嘞！啲香港佬仲有一句说话“一男二女三傷風”。即喺打一个表示有男性在掛念你，打兩个表示有女性掛念您，打三个就喺伤风无疑啦!哈哈，都几搞笑。

连啲阿差「印度人」嘅传说都话，如果你无端百事打乞嚏，咁就喺一个对你几重要嘅人掛住你，佢哋认为打乞嚏喺健康嘅，如果太耐冇打乞嚏喺一种病！

我个人就相信打一个乞嚏就喺俾人咒，连续打两个喺有人掛住你（一定要喺无端百事個只），连打三个就要小心冷亲，咽住伤风啊！我呢排乘日会打乞嚏，喺唔喺你掛住我哦？喺就拨个轮俾我啦，唔洗我喺屋企咁「闲」。

寻晚喺我嘅中学同学结婚摆酒，本来就喺一个好好嘅机会俾我哋聚一聚，点知有啲老友记唔得闲来，有啲简直就喺唔想来。仲话我哋啲到场嘅喺抱住「礼金白金」嘅心态。咁我呢个旧同学的确喺几市侩嘅，同埋又钟意无事不登三宝殿，所以都难怪旧同学呢边嘅场面冷冷清清。

到咗酒楼，俾埋红包就被带到５１号枱。哇，摆五十几围，大场面嚄！坐到咁后仲好，唔洗理台上做啲乜。新郎仲要求我哋啲旧同学为佢准备啲节目上台玩，你话别边个要睬佢？坐吓，倾吓计，饮吓酒，好快就到咗开餐嘅时间。乜嘢入席仪式，出菜仪式，攞来搞。捧住啲菜，行来行去，唔冻晒就假啦，阵间加料咪仲衰多两钱重添，为乜啫？

话就话响中式酒楼摆酒，但喺就有啲特别嘅搞作。因为主人家喺「神嘅弟兄」，所以就来个「饭前祈祷」，但喺冇人睬佢哋就样衰啲，大家继续倾计饮酒同埋开餐啦。食到差唔多嘅时候，台上仲来个「吹啸」，都可话得喺无厘头到极点囖，跟住仲有集体歌舞表演，哇，搞马戏团咩？

寻晚唯一嘅得着就喺得到个答案，乜嘢答案？就喺「点解要结婚」囉。曾经问过好多结咗婚嘅朋友，佢哋都答唔出，净喺讲「你到咗個个时候就会知道嘅喇」，唔喺嘛，讲啲咁唔负责任嘅说话？但喺寻晚個位「神嘅弟兄」就讲得好好！佢话「因为呢個喺神赐俾你哋嘅，喺神嘅安排！」哇，听咗之后有如清泉灌入心肺，苦海中一盏明灯！咁边个喺神？或者你俾三溝六会得到答案嘅。

P/S:咩嘢话，你睇唔明我写乜嘢？咁你嘅资质的确有限，返去学多几年广东话啦！呢篇嘢喺我呕心沥血，写咗乘個下昼先至写完咖！

Hehehe, today I spent my day at home watching movies and HK drama. Relaxed and enjoyed my time all day long, didn’t even wanna logon to internet to chat and check emails and the best things is I didn’t take afternoon nap! i start the marathon after my breakfast around 10am.

My Super ex-Girlfriend
A pop-corn movie which is quite entertaining with funny jokes and scenes. It is about an ordinary guy meeting the G-girl with super power, how they be together and how the guy realized that his loves is not with the G-girl. it is a love story indeed. Nope, I won’t tell much about the story but i just share what i get from the movie. Girls always hope that there’s a hero for her even she has the super power and when the jealousy arrises, she will do anything!

World Trade Center
You guessed it right! it is about the biggest tragedy in US history, the 911 terrorist attack! As we all still can recall the scene when planes fly into the skyscrapers, and both towers collapsed. However this movie brings the audience into the rescuer and their family perspective. Their struggles and fears before they send into the tower to save lives and after they trapped in the wreckage. The story brings us to think about how important human life is, and the ways human reaction upon something bad happened on our self or family member.

肥田喜事 (Fei Tin Hei Shi)
Hong Kong TVB drama which backboned on a fat girl looking for her dream guy. She is actually from a rich family originated in Philippine. I only able to cover the 1st 6 episodes but it refreshed me on matters and problems that I faced, maybe simply because i am fat too. :p the morale i get from these 6 episodes are, dream about what you want and realized it with steps. Be realistic and be more "city" (a word used by my philosopher-Gary! hahaha).Do things and treat people whole heartedly will sure benefit with great result and great relationship.

All together I spent 10 hours watching my computer LCD screen and 2 hours on my TV screen. Don’t really feel tired but feel like I have lot of things to think before bed tonight.
